Watercolour whizz!

I’ve never really got on with watercolour before but suddenly it’s my new favourite medium.

I love the lovely clear colours you can achieve, but also the way the colours mix on the page.

You can also use glazes to bring colours back again.  I used to think you couldn’t have second thoughts with watercolour.  It’s true it’s a good idea to know what you’re trying to achieve before you start, unlike oils where you can just keep on altering it until you like what you see.  But watercolours are also more flexible than I ever thought!
